Kendra Taylor, Salish Kootenai College, “ My youngest son passed away,
and I was his main caregiver. He inspired me to pursue nursing; he taught me
how to be detail-minded. I know that I can give others similar care and
I will continue to help others as a nurse.” |
 |
Tashina Kitchen, Little Priest Tribal College, “Every day I drive 40
miles one way to attend LPTC, which shows just how motivated I am about my education.
LPTC nominated me for ‘Who’s Who’, among college students and
that has motivated me to finish.” |
 |
Tony Oktollik, Ilisagvik College, “The reason I decided to go to college
is to show my kids that even starting your education late you can still achieve
your goals. Once I attain my diploma, I hope to find a decent job to give
my kids a better life.” |
 |
Michael Morningstar, Fort Berthold Community College, “I find
myself truly interested at the possibilities and complexity of how networks are
developed and managed. I also enjoy that networks enable and promote connection
among people of all races and creeds.” |
